Sports News Without Access, Favor, Or Discretion

Despite yesterday's mini-mutiny, the game between the Rodman-led former NBA players and a team of North Korean all-stars went off without a hitch today. The NBAers lost the game, because they'd like to return home, but before tip-off Rodman led the crowd in a serenade of Supreme Leader for his birthday.

Kim Jong-un is not shown in the video because the one western camera crew allowed into the game was not allowed to film him. We presume Kim, who supposedly turns 31 today, enjoyed himself.

Meanwhile the family of Kenneth Bae, an American held captive in North Korea on nebulous charges, blasted Rodman. In a bizarre, rambling interview yesterday, Rodman all but insinuated Bae deserved to be imprisoned.

"My family and I are outraged," Bae's sister Terri Chung said in a statement. "He is playing games with my brother's life. There is no diplomacy, only games, and at my brother's expense."
