How The World Cup Draw Affected Each Country's Odds To Win
Hot off the presses from online sportsbook an online sportsbook, each country's odds to win the 2014 World Cup, both before and after today's draw.
It reads about how you'd expect, with teams in the presumptive easier groups (like France and Russia in the E and H cakewalks) seeing their odds shorten significantly. Conversely, the odds for teams like England, the Netherlands, and Italy generally got longer for being in the tough groups.
The most interesting of all might be the movement on teams in Group G, one of the strongest groups. Three of the four countries—Germany, Portugal, and Ghana—saw their odds get longer. The USMNT's stayed the same.
