Hugh II: The Nedessey Continues... Part 1

It's another glorious Saturday of football action all over America. Of course I'm sitting here following the games online and collecting your instant messages while I watch the Premier League on my DVR. Things sure do sound thrilling, so I'll be sure to catch the second halves of the early games (assuming my bets are still alive). The real action gets started later on, but in the meantime we've got Rutgers wearing black!

Now calling a moratorium on the black alternate uni trend for Rutgers, although having a team look like death itself might be appropriate for New Jersey. - Signal to Noise

Well, it's a little more than three hours to game-time, so let's take a quick stock: Rainy weather? Check. Two story beer-bong across the street? Check. People getting wasted in the street? No check! It's almost like the town's getting responsible. -Fraganhome

I just got to UW's homecoming and I want to punch everyone in the face. - goathair

Brad Nessler just said to Paul Maguire "Johnny almost Dingle'd you last night." What kind of prep are they doing before these games? -MrRedDevil4Ever (ed. note: boooooo!)

Pam Ward and Ray Bentley aren't calling a game this week. I'm missing my weekly amount of batshit crazy and completely inaccurate. - Signal to Noise

Oh, by the way, I need some serious comedy. Please, oh please, let the announcers mention Kirk Ferentz's coaching genius and how NFL teams want(ed) to hire him. - Signal to Noise

Did you hear Lee Corso call Javorski Lane "a gay?" -Dorbandt (ed. note: no, no i did not)

It wouldn't be Hugh Johnson without some BTN bashing!

i woke up far too hungover to go to the badgers football game so i sold my ticket...then i realized the game is on the big ten network and therefore isnt on cable tv in madison. what purpose is it serving anyone that this deal hasnt gotten done yet? are the sides negotiating? it completely defies common sense that the two sides seem completely unwilling to compromise with each other. -PackersFan

The Big 10 Network once again succinctly screws over Michigan and Minnesota fans today... tell me again, what was the point of launching this network? -IsDrago

We'll be back shortly with more of Hugh Johnson's goodness.
