Ilya Bryzgalov Spent The Third Period Posing For Photos With Wild Fans

Ilya Bryzgalov would love Minnesota. It's a hockey-mad market with loyal fans, a media that's less combative than he's used to, and of course, lots of parks. And, Minnesota? You would love Bryz right back. You should probably keep him.

Brygalov sat at the end of the bench during last night's preseason win over Pittsburgh, and as the game wound down, a steady and increasing stream of fans walked down to glass to grab a picture with the goalie. He was more than obliging.

The Wild have a glut of goaltenders, though none of them are sure things. Bryzgalov is here on a tryout, and could be moving on before the season starts next week. If this is the end of the Minnesota Bryz Experience, it was a good way to go.
