Jake Locker Takes Brutal Late Hit To Head, Stays In The Game
Watch the video above. You'll see Jake Locker scramble for a 10-yard touchdown and get clocked with a forearm shiver to the helmet. He goes down, clutching his head, and when he's finally helped to his feet, appears woozy, and stumbles. He was taken to the locker room to be evaluated for signs of a concussion; despite the above, he was cleared to play and reinserted to the game.
Shortly thereafter, Locker hurt his wrist and was removed. Charlie Whitehurst entered at quarterback.
