James Conner Says He Is Cancer Free
Photo via [object Object] In December, Pitt running back James Conner announced that he had been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s lymphoma. This afternoon, just over six months later, he announced that he was cancer free.
Conner won 2014 ACC Player of the Year with the Panthers, and will almost certainly return to football. He finished his 12th and final round of chemotherapy two weeks ago, but he’s been doing light offseason workouts with his team. Hodgkin lymphoma has a very low relapse rate, so hopefully he will be healthy going forward.
