JaVale McGee Sent Kevin Love To The Hospital With A Concussion

In a season of JaVale McGee doing awesome things—intentionally or unintentionally—his latest act is decidedly less so, as an inadvertent elbow decked Kevin Love and sent the Timberwolves star to the hospital with a concussion in the first quarter of last night's bout in Denver.

It comes at a bad time for Minnesota, who are already missing Luke Ridnour with an ankle sprain and ended up losing the game 113-107. The Timberwolves technically aren't eliminated from playoff contention yet according to NBA.com, but the writing's been on the wall for some time in Minneapolis; the saving grace for enjoying the rest of the season was being able to watch Kevin Love play.
