Jeb: It's Rude To Hear My Old Dad Say Things
Jeb Bush, a man who insists he owns multiple sweaters and also loves saltines, is furious. But why is our mild-mannered boy so enraged? Because someone heard his very old dad talk.
Jeb’s trouble (not counting the past two years of his life) apparently started when Kathleen Hartington Kennedy Townsend posted on Facebook that George H.W. had “told” her he’s voting for Hillary. According to Jeb, that’s not what happened at all.
I thought it was a little inappropriate for a person to overhear a frail 92-year-old man in a private setting, at a reception for The Points of Light Foundation—which focuses on volunteerism—to hear this, and then immediately go on Facebook and put it on there. And then go on national television and not even show up at the board meeting. I thought it was inappropriate.
How dare someone—a Kennedy no less!—listen to the words of not just a man, but an old man. And then she has the gall to skip the board meeting like some sort of degenerate? Disgusting.
Of course, it’s understandable that Jeb would be upset, considering how close he is with his father.
Jeb doesn’t need this shit right now. So please, don’t send Jeb back to his deep, dark unhappy place. Please clap.
