Jesus Christ Ditches His Wife At An Oklahoma Restaurant

A woman has been jailed on a charge of fraud after her husband, Jesus Christ, fooled her into ordering food she couldn't pay for at a restaurant.

Expecting Mr. Christ to meet her and pay for her meal, Kristi Rhimes entered El Chico restaurant in Lawton, OK on Friday, and ordered food and drinks for herself. When presented with the bill, Ms. Rhimes explained that her husband, a popular religious leader, would be along shortly to pay for the meal. Unfortunately he failed to appear, and when Ms. Rhimes could produce neither proof of her marriage to the Son of God, nor an alternative form of payment, she was arrested.

"The times when you have seen only one set of footprints," said Mr. Christ, when reached for comment, "those are the times I tricked you into going to jail."
