José María Olazábal Skipped A Ball Six Times Across A Water Hazard
This golf ball’s trajectory will make your emotions soar, only to very quickly leave them afloat in mid-air, wondering where and how to land.
The golf ball, shot by José María Olazábal at a practice round for The Masters yesterday, skips over water and then disappoints us all by missing its mark by what looks like only a few feet. It’s the type of quotidian heartbreak that could slowly numb you into a somnolent state, a state where the amazing, wondrous things in life start meaning less and less, so as to protect yourself from that same emotional deflation.
But it’s worth watching, if only to faintly remember what it was like to DREAM.
