Just Give The Browns This One; It's All They Have

Are the Browns bringing back Brownie The Elf (or just Brownie, if you want to get technical and point out the differences between elves and hobgoblins or whatever)? Maybe! Is this an enticement to a perpetually morose fanbase that thinks the front office has given up on the team and has therefore returned the favor? Definitely!

Brownie had (has?) very distinctive black and white striped arms. Like the Hamburgler, except Brownie doesn't burgle burgers, he burgles souls. The Browns posted that picture above to its facebook and instagram accounts and because of the sleeves, it has lead many to speculate about a return of Brownie.

While it's not entirely a mascot revival—Brownie has previously r eturned from his Art Modell banishment—let's not pick nits here. Let the Browns have something this year.
