Kelly Clark Wipes Out On First Run In Halfpipe Final
Kelly Clark's halfpipe final experience is beginning to mirror Shaun White's. As one of the top snowboarders in the world, she put up a big number in the qualifying round but struggled in her first run of the final and wiped out when she hit the lip. She is currently in 12th place, halfway through the field's second run.
Americans Kaitlyn Farrington and Hannah Teter sit in first and second, respectively.
Update: Here's Clark's final run. She landed a frontside 1080 in her final run and scored a 90.75, good enough for bronze. Farrington hung on for gold and Australia's Torah Bright won silver.
