Ladies And Hooligans, Your Premier League Action ...
Notes from some of Saturday's games in the Barclays Premier League ...
• Everton 0-1 Manchester United — United once again struggled to mount any serious attacking threat, but Nemanja Vidic's 83rd-minute near-post header saved the day. Man U kept Wayne Rooney, back from that broken foot, on the bench, but Cristiano Ronaldo's pretty face returned from suspension. Thank. God.
• Tottenham 1-3 Arsenal — Emmanuel Adebayor scored twice as Arsenal came from behind to beat the Spurs, 3-1. The Gunners now sit atop the Premier League table with 13 points.
• Portsmouth 0-0 Liverpool — Goalkeeper Pepe Reina dived low to his right to save a Kanu penalty shot, and in the process a Liverpool loss to Portsmouth. Close call for the Reds. And Kanu, buddy, low right? C'mon, man. So obvious.
