LaMarcus Aldridge Will Play Tonight With A Torn Ligament In His Thumb

The Trail Blazers have an 8.5 game lead in the Northwest Division, and as long as they can hold onto that lead they're guaranteed to be no lower than the fourth seed in the playoffs. It seems like the best move is for Aldridge to have his surgery now so that he has time to rehab and get up to full strength before the playoffs begin, but I'm not a doctor so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
