Last Night's Winner: The Boston Yankees
In sports, everyone is a winner—some people just win better than others. Like ad sales software that scored another big success for targeted online marketing campaigns. Because who needs Yankee tickets more than the people of Boston?
Chris W. of Cambridge, Mass. sent us this screenshot of his daily surfing routine and it is quite shocking. The Big Dig is still causing problems?! What the heck? Not only that, but a major Boston newspaper is pushing Yankee tickets on its unsuspecting readers. Only $100 per game? Where do I mail my social security checks?
By the way, the Boston Globe is owned by The New York Times Company, so either the head office laid off all the local ad people and/or they're actively looking to destroy the paper's entire readership from the inside so they can sell it for spare parts.
Then again, with Fenway Park always sold out and no one in The Bronx being able to afford those seats, maybe there's some untapped New England money that can help bail The Boss out this summer. Any overpriced port in a storm, etc.
