LeBron James Says He's Open To Playing Again In Cleveland, Maybe
I admit it: I was skeptical when sources passed along something like this a couple of weeks back to a reporter from Cleveland. It all seemed so ridiculous, considering there are still two years remaining on LeBron's contract with the Heat. So much can happen between now and then. Besides, does anyone not named Chris Broussard really want to spend the next two years dwelling endlessly on the psychodrama of whether or not LeBron will return to his roots?
Well, get ready for it. Today, the words came straight from LeBron, and here's how the were presented, courtesy the Twitter account of the :
Notice that everything is expressed in the subjunctive. This is where LeBron always gets into trouble. The subjunctive is where something like "The Chosen One" happens. It's where The Decision and "Not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7" happen. LeBron dashes into the subjunctive and comes out even more of a dipshit than before. It's a bit like Superman's phone booth, except in reverse.
