Listen To The Moment Carson Palmer's Season Ended
On Sunday, Cardinals QB Carson Palmer tore his ACL. He was wearing a mic for NFL Films, so if you want to hear a man scream in pain as he almost immediately realizes he's done for the year, have at it.
It was a non-contact injury, and the same left ACL that he tore in 2006. Weirdly, that earlier injury came 10 days after Palmer signed a massive contract extension with the Bengals; Sunday's tear came just two days after he and the Cardinals inked a three-year extension with $20 million guaranteed.
The Cardinals must now entrust the league's best record to Drew Stanton.
The full "Wired Up" segment will air on the NFL Network tomorrow.
