Lloyd McClendon Gets Ejected, Goes Berzerk, Receives Standing Ovation

Mariners manager Lloyd McClendon was extremely mad at the umpires in tonight’s contest against the Yankees, so mad that he made sure to yell at three different umps individually.
The action really started the batter before, when Brett Gardner was ruled to have checked his swing when it sure looked to everybody else like he’d gone around. When—in McClendon’s opinion—the same thing happened again, he just couldn’t contain himself. Also of note is that tonight is Mariners pitcher Mike Montgomery’s MLB debut; McClendon likely felt the need to take a bullet for his young pitcher.
Of course, no matter how much you enjoyed this, it doesn’t top jacking first base and taking it into the dugout:
