Mets Pitcher Falls Off Curb, Re-Breaks Arm
The Mets’ recent hot streak has made them look like an honest-to-God playoff team, as they’ve taken over first place in the NL East. Some people are ready to believe that the team’s days of bumbling ineptitude are dwindling, but fear not! Even when the team is winning, #LolMets finds a way.
Hot off the press, here is a piece of news about Mets pitcher Jerry Blevins, who has been on the DL since April 19 after getting his forearm fractured by a line drive:
Jerry Blevins on Monday night re-fractured a left forearm bone and is done for the season.
Blevins suffered the injury when he fell off a curb, according to the team. He is expected to undergo surgery in Boston next week on the distal radius bone.
Gotta watch those curbs, man.
