Minimalist NHL Logos Might Be Even Better Than The Real Things
The true test of a sharp, resonant logo is if it can be stripped down to its barest elements and still be recognizable. That's why we'll post just about any minimalist designs we find, including two different sets of NHL logos.
These come from designer S. Preston, who was responsible for those great minimalist MLB ballpark posters a few weeks back. Ten of our favorites are above, but he's got all 30 available for download. They're not available as prints, but they're the perfect dimensions for wallpaper on your phone.
While Preston's design is often a zoomed-in or isolated element of the existing logo, perhaps you're looking for a more drastic reimagining. For that, we have another option: this design study from Segments Design, posted last March.
