MLB Commish Rob Manfred Offers A Compelling Argument Against The DH

There are persuasive arguments for why the National League should adopt the DH and get rid of pitcher’s batting, but MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred thinks they’re hogwash.

Via MLB.com:

“Not having National League pitchers hit,” Manfred told reporters at Comerica Park, “would deprive us of the entertainment that Bartolo Colon has given us this year. It’s been a great source of entertainment for me. I don’t know about for the rest of you, but it has been for me.”

No, it has definitely been fun for us too.
