MMA Fighter Ends Main Event In Nine Seconds With One-Punch Knockout
source: [object Object] Kyoji Horiguchi and Ian McCall headlined this weekend’s Rizin 10 in Fukuoka, Japan, and the two former UFC flyweight contenders put on a highlight-dense fight, in that there was one highlight and it took up the entire fight. Horiguchi unhooked McCall’s jaw in five seconds on the first punch he threw, knocking him out faster than Conor McGregor knocked out José Aldo. The full fight, to use that word loosely, is below:
McCall’s no slouch—the Californian is the last man not to lose to Demetrious Johnson, grinding out a draw against the pound-for-pound king in 2012. Horiguchi’s last loss was to Johnson in 2015, when he was submitted via armbar with one second on the clock for the latest finish in UFC history. Since that title fight loss, Horiguchi has ripped off nine straight wins, none more impressive than this. Surely the UFC would love to have him back.
