More Genitalia-Related Stadium Names
Later today, at a press conference in Denver, the MLS, the Colorado Rapids and Dick's Sporting Goods will officially announce their partnership for the new 18,000-seat arena in Commerce City.
The main aspect of the announcement, which might or might not release the financial details of the deal (reportedly about $40 million for 20 years), is to announce the name of the stadium.
We don't need to make a joke here. It really has to be Dick's Stadium, doesn't it? We mean, they wouldn't feasibly consider calling it something else, right? Dick's Stadium. Who's up for a Dick's Stadium / Pink Taco Stadium doubleheader? Two great tastes that go great together.
We're not being infantile, we swear: They just really have to take advantage of this opportunity, that's all. Hell, it's the MLS; they gotta do something.
