Jordan Woodruff Natus Vincere and Team Spirit each recorded a sweep for the second consecutive day on Sunday at the PGL Astana 2025 group stage.
Natus Vincere posted a 2-0 win over BIG in a Round 2 High Match, courtesy of a 13-8 victory on Inferno and 13-10 triumph on Mirage.
Team Spirit dispatched Ninjas in Pyjamas in a Round 2 High Match following a 16-13 victory on Train and 13-4 win on Dust II.
Astralis and MongolZ also posted sweeps of their respective Round 2 High Matches.
Astralis toppled paiN Gaming, courtesy of a 13-4 win on Nuke and 13-9 triumph on Inferno.
MongolZ had an easy time of it versus MIBR, posting 13-5 victory on Mirage and 13-6 win on Anubis.
PGL Astana 2025, which runs through May 18, has a $625,000 prize pool, with first place worth $200,000 and second place $93,750.
The group stage runs Saturday through Wednesday and features 16 teams in a Swiss system format. All matches are best-of-three and the top eight proceed to the playoffs on May 16-18.
The playoffs will take place at Barys Arena in Astana, Kazakhstan, and use a single-elimination bracket with teams seeded by group stage rankings. All matches are best-of-three except for the grand final, which is a best-of-five.
Virtus.pro, FURIA, Aurora Gaming and ODDiK each won their respective Round 2 Low Matches by a 2-1 score.
Virtus.pro overcame a 13-9 loss on Ancient to M80 by recording a 13-8 win on Mirage and 13-10 triumph on Inferno.
FURIA sandwiched 13-9 wins over GamerLegion on both Anubis and Nuke around a 13-7 setback on Mirage.
Aurora sandwiched a 13-9 victory on Mirage and 13-11 triumph on Nuke around HOTU's 16-13 win on Anunis.
ODDiK posted a 13-8 win on Anubis and 13-9 victory on Nuke around G2's 13-3 triumph on Dust II.
