NFL Update: The Giants Are Dominating
The day's games are off to a good start, unless you're a Redskins fan. I've been instructed by Kogod to tell you that the Redskins were screwed on a bad block in the back that should have been a flag. I'm going to be listening to this all day, so feel for me. So far, the asskicking of the day belongs to the Giants. New York is up 24-3 and dominating the Seahawks secondary. Hasselbeck hit the turf holding his ankle but he never missed a play. Steve Smith managed a catch after losing a shoe and Jacobs has 2 touchdowns to his credit. • Westbrook was said to be "ok to start", but that went to hell quickly as he was sent into the locker room during the Eagles second play drive. He's back on the field so we'll see how he holds up. The Eagles are up 14-3. • Donald Driver caught a 44 yard pass from Aaron Rodgers in double coverage to put the Packers on the board. The Falcons are up 10-7 with a touchdown by Justin Peele. • The Colts and Texans are tied at 10 a piece with rushing touchdowns by Joseph Addai and Steve Slaton. The Texans have stand-in quarterback Sage Rosenfels as Matt Schaub is in the hospital with a virus. • The Panthers are up by a pair of touchdowns over the Chiefs. DeAngelo Williams has both touchdowns in his pocket.
