Oleksandr Usyk-Tyson Fury rematch set for December

Undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury have scheduled a Dec. 21 rematch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
"The world will watch another historical fight again," Turki Alalshikh, chairman of Saudi Arabia's General Entertainment Authority, posted Wednesday on social media. "Our commitment to boxing fans continues. ... We hope you enjoy it."
Usyk defeated Fury via split decision on May 18 in Riyadh. Usyk (22-0-0, 14 KOs) had two judges on his side with scores of 114-113 and 115-112, while Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) won over the other judge, 114-113.
With the victory, Usyk cemented himself as the first undisputed heavyweight champion in nearly 25 years. Lennox Lewis was the last boxer to accomplish the feat thanks to a win over Evander Holyfield in 1999.
Usyk, 37, of Ukraine, already had signed a two-fight deal with Fury, 35, of England. The original rematch date was Oct. 12.
