Olympic Flame Snuffed Out In Russia

There is no better image for these Sochi Olympics than light going dark once inside the Russian border.

The Olympic flame arrived in Moscow on Sunday and after a ceremonial welcome, a torch was lit and a former Russian olympian set out on a trot, flame held high. He ran through an enclosed passageway that must have created a wind tunnel and, moments after emerging from it, the flame went out. Fortunately, Prometheus bound in overcoat-and-tie was nearby with a lighter and total crisis was averted.
