P.K. Subban Stretchered Off The Ice After Hit To The Neck
Canadiens defenseman P.K. Subban was stretchered off the ice late in the third period of a win over the Sabres, after getting hit by teammate Alexei Emelin. Subban was battling with Marcus Foligno in the corner when he fell to his knees, and his neck was sort of backed into by Emelin. Subban immediately went down and threw his gloves to the ice, and seemed to be in excruciating pain. After a couple of minutes his head was immobilized, he was loaded on a stretcher, and is presumably heading to the hospital.
