Mandatory Credit: Peter Casey-Imagn Images Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson will start Sunday's road game against the Cleveland Browns, head coach John Harbaugh confirmed Friday.
Jackson returned to practice Thursday after missing Wednesday's workout with knee discomfort. The two-time MVP missed three games earlier this season with a hamstring injury.
Jackson told reporters Thursday that his knee is "fine" and he's ready to lead the streaking Ravens (4-5) against the Browns (2-7). Baltimore has won three straight and can reach .500 for the first time this season with a win.
Jackson completed 19 of 29 passes for 225 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-17 home win against the Browns in Week 2. He was sacked three times, with Cleveland star Myles Garrett credited with 1.5 sacks.
"Try to get as much hands and objects on him as possible," Jackson said of the Ravens' game plan against Garrett on Sunday. "I'm going to do whatever it takes to win."
Jackson, 28, has completed 70.1% of his passes for 1,249 yards with 15 touchdowns and one interception in six starts this season. He has rushed for 216 yards and one score.
