Ray Lewis Has A Terrifying New Facemask
Ray Lewis returned to practice Wednesday for the first time since tearing his tricep in Week 7. He's not eligible to play this Sunday, but the Ravens posted a photo of the new facemask Lewis will be wearing.
The Giants' Chris Canty started the grille trend to try and keep opposing players' fingers away from his eye, which required multiple surgeries before he entered the NFL. Justin Tuck added diagonal bars and a visor to his version, to keep players from twisting his head as he attempted to recover from a neck injury. Lewis's look isn't totally original—but he's the only player who has been indicted on murder charges, so he wins the intimidation battle.
