Report: Steve Francis Not Using Drugs, Just Old

The last time we checked in on former NBA player Steve Francis, he was getting strangled by his own chain at a club. When Francis showed up courtside at a Dec. 12 Lakers-Rockets game, his appearance was apparently so concerning that TMZ had to publish a report today assuring the public that the 38-year-old was not using drugs.

It’s not a very thorough investigation, because it didn’t need to be. Here’s the only relevant quote:

As for his appearance at the game — a source close to Steve told us there’s no health issue, “He’s just old.”

Steve Francis: old.
