Report: The Giants Miss Hating Angel Pagan
Photo credit: Ralph Freso/ [object Object] Fox Sports’ Ken Rosenthal published a report today about team chemistry issues that the San Francisco Giants are suffering through this season. The conclusion of the piece is that the Giants’ clubhouse culture is in rough shape because Mark Melancon annoys the rest of the bullpen and everyone else on the team is quiet and boring. You can read the full thing here, but I want to draw your attention to this brief, savage burn of former Giants outfielder Angel Pagan:
Some with the Giants muse that the team even misses Angel Pagan, who created an odd sort of unity because most of the players disliked him.
Now imagine poor Angel Pagan, currently without a team, getting a Google alert for his name while settling in for breakfast this morning. “Oh, Ken Rosenthal wrote something about me!” he says.
