Reports: Eagles acquire RB Tank Bigsby from Jaguars

Bigsby was traded to the Eagles The Jacksonville Jaguars traded running back Tank Bigsby to the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday in exchange for 2026 fifth- and sixth-round picks, according to multiple reports.
Bigsby, 24, is expected to move into a kick return role, but might serve as a backup to Saquon Barkley after Will Shipley suffered a rib injury against the Dallas Cowboys in a 24-20 win on Thursday.
In the Jaguars' season-opening 26-10 win over the Carolina Panthers, Bigsby was outsnapped 40-14 by Travis Etienne and had only five touches compared to Etienne's 19. Bigsby generated 12 yards from scrimmage compared to 156 for Etienne, 143 on the ground.
Bigsby, a 2023 third-round draft pick, has 910 rushing yards on 223 attempts (4.1 yards per carry) in 34 career games. He has nine rushing touchdowns, along with eight receptions for 60 yards.
