Richard Sherman Drops Delayed Burn On Cam Newton

Last year after the Panthers beat the Seahawks in the playoffs, Cam Newton was running a circuit around the Panthers’ stadium for his customary parade of high-fives, when he grabbed a “12th man” flag, crumpled it up, and tossed it.
This did not sit well with an extremely haughty Seahawks fan, and Sherman apparently also did not forget. The Panthers are headed up to Seattle this weekend and reporters asked Sherman if Newton crossed the line when he tossed the flag. He used the occasion to remind everyone that the Panthers suck this year.
“Yeah, he probably did,” Sherman said. “I guess karma gets you. It doesn’t look like you’re going to be in the playoffs this year.”
