San Francisco Brings Fire And Fistfights To World Series Celebrations
As in 2010 and 2012, Giants fans took to the streets to celebrate their World Series win, and as in 2010 and 2012, some of them burned shit and warred with cops in riot gear.
Police say the celebrations started off peacefully, but as the night wore on and the fans who were actually looking to have fun went home, things got increasingly boozy and dangerous, especially in the Mission District and the area near AT&T Park. Police saythey made several arrests, and that the most serious injuries were two men treated for non-life-threatening gunshot wounds and one man who was stabbed several times.
