Tennessee's Danny O'Brien Carted Off After Helmet-To-Helmet Hit [Update]
Senior Tennessee defensive lineman Danny O’Brien left the field in College Station on a stretcher today after a fourth-quarter helmet-to-helmet hit.
The injury resulted in a 15-minute delay as O’Brien was strapped to a backboard and eventually carted off. It was O’Brien’s second injury of the day, and the second apparent head injury for the Volunteers.
We’ll update this post as any information about O’Brien’s condition becomes available.
