Texas A&M Doesn't Know What Feces Look Like
What's worse than vandalizing a rival school's team buses, flinging shit all over? Saying your rivals did just that, when the truth is much more prosaic and less poopy.
You'll recall A&M athletic director Bill Byrne claiming "all four" of their team buses were vandalized in a Holiday Inn parking lot the night before the game. "Vulgarities" were spray painted on the sides, Byrne said, and one of the buses had a pile of dog manure inside.
Lies! Fakers! (Also, maybe fakers of injury.) Texas Tech launched their own investigation, and they take major issue with Byrne's allegations. Chuck Carlton of the is on the poop-or-no-poop beat, and he's got his hands on a Tech statement.
•The buses were not spray painted. Instead washable shoe polish was used on the windows of one of the buses. •No feces were found either in or on the buses. Fish bait was dropped onto the floor of one of the buses. •The alleged 'vandalism' was cleaned by the bus drivers and Holiday Inn staff" before it was seen by Texas A&M official (Byrne)
Jesus, Aggies. You won the game. You're leaving the conference. You beat up scores of Tech fans in their own stadium 10 years ago. You've won. There's no need to rub anyone's nose in imaginary shit.
