The Thunder evened up the series last night, 106-100 in Dallas, and cut Dirk Nowitzki's scoring in half — from 48 points in Game 1 to a more humane 29 last night. That's progress, but what's more impressive is that down the stretch, the team that is relentlessly criticized for relying two heavily on Durant and Russell Westbrook instead relied on its reserves. James Harden, who came off the bench to score 23 points, had 10 in the fourth quarter on 4-for-5 shooting, and Eric Maynor, Nick Collison and Daequan Cook added 13, eight, and six points, respectively. If Oklahoma City gets consistent support off the bench — and if they defer to Durant for the wall hangings — then this series will stay interesting.
