Theo Epstein Ate Goat In The Bleachers At Wrigley
Elsa/Getty Images Theo Epstein is having a pretty good life. On top of ending a cumulative 194 years of historic championship droughts, Epstein can get whatever meats he wants on demand, and he can eat those meats wherever he damn well pleases.
Epstein and Cubs GM Jed Hoyer celebrated their team’s World Series win by eating a goat while sitting in the bleachers at Wrigley Field, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
He seems to have enjoyed his goat!
Some fancy restaurant in Chicago prepared a 9 1/2 pound goat for Epstein and Hoyer and delivered it to them personally like some sort of baseball kings. Now I’m wondering if Epstein had some of Babe Ruth’s remains exhumed for his consumption after the Red Sox’s 2004 World Series win.
