That's according to his agency, Priority Sports, which confirmed the move Tuesday on social media. Financial terms were not revealed.
Bryant, 28, is entering his ninth NBA season after being selected in the second round -- No. 42 overall -- in the 2017 NBA Draft. The Cavaliers will be his sixth team, following the Los Angeles Lakers, Washington Wizards, Denver Nuggets, Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers.
As a member of the Pacers last season, Bryant was pesky in the Eastern Conference semifinals as Indiana upset the top-seeded Cavaliers. In five games, Bryant averaged 3.6 points and 1.8 rebounds over 10.4 minutes a game.
He then scored 11 points (a postseason career high) in the Pacers' Game 6 win over the New York Knicks to advance to the NBA Finals, where the team lost to the Oklahoma City Thunder in seven games.
In his career, Bryant is averaging 8.9 points and 5.1 rebounds over 333 career games (146 starts). In 66 games (eight starts) last season with the Heat and Pacers, Bryant averaged 6.5 points and 3.8 rebounds.
