Today's Viewing Guide For March Madness: Office Tricks, Game Schedules, And Gus Johnson
Day One of the 2011 NCAA tournament was The Best Day One Anyone Can Remember, which no one ever says! But there were four buzzer-beaters and a sad bird, which is a pretty damn good day. Here's your guide to watching in the workplace, along with an updated broadcast-announcer schedule for today's action. It starts with Oakland ( of Michigan)-Texas at noon on CBS.
• Every single tournament game is available for online streaming at the NCAA's website, March Madness On Demand (MMOD).
• The NCAA site also has a comprehensive score center that lists each game and where it will be broadcast — there are roughly four blocks of start times (12:00, 2:30, 6:45, 9:15), most with four games on four different channels (TBS, CBS, TNT, truTV).
• Find an iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch to hover over, because Turner and CBS have provided a free app that streams all games to an Apple handheld with a 3G or WiFi connection.
• If you're still stuck, there are always bootleg sites. http://atdhenet.tv/) is the most reliable, but there are others out there. Share your tips and bootleg sites in the comments, join us for our open threads, and annoy (or delight) your coworkers with the Gus Johnson soundboard.
