Trent Richardson Smash!
Pro days are serious business. With fewer players taking part in the Combine, whether due to injury or the founded fear that performing can only hurt their draft stock, the highly controlled pro day has become the showcase of choice for the top prospects. This is bad news for the NFL Network, and great news for ESPN, which has been offering live coverage and liveblogs of the big schools' pro days.
Courtney Upshaw and Mark Barron also participated at Alabama's pro day today, but the undisputed star was running back Trent Richardson. When Richardson was being put through blocking drills by the Browns, he took Cleveland RB coach Gary Brown off his feet. This is a strong man, and a very good reason the Browns didn't give Peyton Hillis that contract he wanted.
