Ty Lawson Goes To Movie Without Teammate, Makes Teammate Sad

Last night, Nuggets point guard Ty Lawson sent out what he thought was a harmless tweet:

No big deal, right? Wrong! To Nuggets shooting guard Evan Fournier, whom Lawson did not invite to the movie, this was a very big deal:

Caught in an awkward situation, Lawson had no choice but to deploy the same damage control technique that we all perfected while trying to avoid hanging out with that one really annoying guy in high school: the non-apology, non-invite "invitation."

But Fournier wasn't so easily pacified:

I'm not sure how the Nuggets will recover from this devastating blow to the team's chemistry. They might have to trade Fournier to Oklahoma City, so that he and Perk can hang out.
