Watch One Of The Best Swimmers In The U.S. Belly Flop Like A Pro
How do you celebrate two more national championships at the peak of your swimming prowess? Tyler Clary decided to do an award-winning belly flop fit for any neighborhood pool.
This moment comes from the U.S. National Championships in Irvine, Calif., after Clary won the 200-meter backstroke and 400-meter individual medley, as well as a runner-up in the 200-meter butterfly and third in the 200-meter IM. In a fit of showmanship and exuberance, he donned a stars-and-bars cap, set his feet, adjusted his goggles, and flopped to the delight of the crowd.
Forget Phelps' comeback or Lochte's beautiful brand of douchery; Clary's flop was the most unassuming, unpretentious piece of news from the weekend. See the video evidence below, and check out full results here.
