Welcome To Deadspin Widescreen
This image was lost some time after publication. As some of you might have noticed, the design looks a wee bit different around here today; we're doing some tweaking, some minor "redesigning," if you will, and we think it looks quite nice.
There aren't any major changes, because we do not want to blow your minds with any concept other than FREEDOM. The main thing: We're introducing the Deadspin Widescreen. It is named such because it's like regular Deadspin, except the screen is wider. (Lo!) We'll be running larger photos — like with Freddie Mitchell down below, or with the most handsome Cleveland Senior since Drew Carey's dad, seen here in all his HD glory — and you'll find that our headlines are somehow even more wordy now.
So, we hope you like it. As with any redesign, there's always the potential for some nasty bugs in the system or certain matters that don't work on certain browsers — the size of the photo, in many cases, will depend on the size of your monitor — so if something's not working right, or you're getting a blank page, please email us and let us know.
The reason we did this, by the way: We've been having the darndest time fitting Berman's head on a single page.
