When Yankees Fans Attack ...
As if trying to keep your eyes peeled for foul balls — and flying rabbits! — wasn't enough to worry about at live sporting events, now we have to worry about drunk, rolling Yankees fans, too? But I only have two eyes!
[Paul] Robinson, 53, was in the top tier at [Yankee] Stadium with his wife, Kathy, and 13-year-old son, John, during the Yankees' 12-0 blowout against the Los Angeles Angels last Sunday when the mystery fan's fall snapped Robinson's head forward so hard it broke the vertebrae below the skull.
Robinson underwent 2-1/2 hours of surgery and is currently recovering at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx.
Robinson and his family don't know why the man in blue jeans fell, but they think he may have been drinking.
Think.
