How's Jim Tomsula Doing?
NFL teams are in the process of filling out their coaching staffs, and barring a catastrophe, it appears that Jim Tomsula won’t be a head coach next season. So, uh, where’s he going?
Tomsula was reportedly spotted sans mustache at a Gold’s Gym in California last week, but that’s about the extent of his offseason activities so far. A Niners Nation article—with little to no sourcing—suggests that Tomsula’s name isn’t coming up in any open positions at any level, outside of one tweet by Adam Caplan:
Even if Tomsula doesn’t end up with a job, he’s still worth having in our lives. If you see him out in public—sneaking onto a boxcar, efficiently managing an oil change station, or squeezing all the day-old bagels to find the best one—drop a line at [email protected]. He deserved better than the 49ers, and we’d like to know what he’s up to.
