Underdog is primarily a daily fantasy sports platform.
Though it has recently launched a separate product, Underdog Predict, which introduces prediction-market-style event contracts.
In this Underdog review, I’ll explain how its prediction markets work and which markets are available.
I’ll also discuss its features and offerings, including payment options, customer service, app, and website usability.

Underdog is often grouped into prediction market sites, but its main product works differently. The platform is primarily a fantasy sports and pick’em site, not a traditional peer to peer trading exchange.
Instead of trading contracts with other users, most Underdog contests are based on player performance predictions. You choose whether a player will go higher or lower than a projected stat line, such as passing yards or points scored. These selections are then combined into entries with fixed payouts.
Underdog does offer a newer feature called Underdog Predict, which more closely resembles a prediction market. In that product, users can take “Yes” or “No” positions on real world events, and prices can reflect implied probabilities. However, this is a separate experience and not the core way most users interact with the platform.
For the main Underdog product, pricing is not driven by trader behavior. Instead, payouts are set in advance by the platform, and there is no open marketplace where users can buy and sell positions. You are not trading contracts, and you cannot exit a position early by selling it to another user.
Because of this, Underdog does not function like a traditional prediction market where contracts are priced between $0.01 and $1 and fluctuate based on demand. It operates more like a fixed odds pick’em game, where outcomes are locked in once your entry is submitted.
If you are specifically using Underdog Predict, some prediction market mechanics may apply. But for most users, the experience is closer to daily fantasy sports than to a true peer to peer trading platform.
In this Underdog review 2026, I observed two main categories for event contracts: sports and culture. However, culture markets span across the economy, politics, and pop culture. Let’s take a look at what each has to offer:
At Underdog, sports predictions are the most traded markets. There are event contracts listed for tennis, soccer, the NFL, CFB, MLB, NHL, and NBA.
You can trade event contracts on total points, spreads, and match winners. I also found futures contracts listed, such as the NFL Championship Winner. Other options include player props such as rushing yards, touchdowns, and passing yards.
Underdog also allows you to combine sports event contracts with up to 8 Fantasy picks. However, most of the entry fee will be used to buy the contracts, and only 10% is allocated to your Fantasy pick. I also discovered that multi-team predictions are available and allow you to combine up to four teams into a single prediction entry. You can use it for the same sport or across sports, but not for the same game.
For economy predictions, Underdog focuses on business and trade-related event contracts. You can trade on questions related to federal government policies, companies, international trades, recession, and so on. For context, here are some of the contracts I found in my review:
For politics, you’ll find contracts for real-world political outcomes at Underdog Predict. At the time of writing, the following contracts were available:
If you’re a fan of pop culture, Underdog features contracts for various categories, including the Grammys and Oscars. These contracts are listed under the entertainment category. I bought contracts for Best New Artist and Album of the Year at the Grammys. For Oscars, you can trade on who will win Best Picture, Best Director, or Best Actor/Actress.
During my review, I didn’t find any Underdog Predict promo code that applied to trading contracts. It turns out the brand isn’t offering bonuses for its traders yet. If one becomes available in the future, I’ll keep you posted.

In my Underdog Predict review, I examined the app and website’s usability. Both the app and the website share the same look: a white background with black and yellow accents. However, you can easily switch to dark mode in your settings or adjust it to match your device’s settings.
The Underdog app and website are simple and intuitive, and all products are in one place, including prediction markets. It’s easy to make trades on the site and app. All markets are neatly arranged by category, and prices are displayed prominently for each. You can use the “Track” tab to view and exit your trades before your contracts are settled.
Making trades was fast and seamless, plus the site loads fast and is stable on mobile browsers, too. However, I found the app even more responsive and convenient. The app is available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Underdog Predict only supports debit cards, Trustly, and Apple Pay. You won’t be charged additional fees for funding your account before trading. However, buying event contracts incurs a small exchange fee of $0.10.
For payouts, you can use any of the above methods. Your Underdog Predict balance will be updated immediately after a successful contract is settled, and you can send your funds to your preferred payment method. Underdog aims to process all withdrawals within 48-72 hours after submitting a request.
If an event contract is incorrect when the event happens, it’ll settle for $0, and you will get nothing.
Most Underdog reviews online mention that the platform has excellent customer service. I checked it out myself, and it turns out they’re absolutely right. Underdog has 24/7 live chat and email support available to address your queries.
At first, you’ll be greeted by an AI bot when you open the live chat, but you have the option to speak to a real agent.
Based on my experience, you’ll be connected to a live representative within three minutes. The agent provided me with swift, polite, and satisfactory answers when I asked about how contract payouts work.
Email support isn’t as instant as live chat, but it’s reliable and effective. You can expect replies within 24 hours, though I got a response within three hours, which is faster than some other popular prediction market sites.
If you prefer the DIY method, Underdog has a well-detailed help center loaded with helpful FAQs. You’ll find answers on payment methods, rules, responsible gaming, and more. There’s also a dedicated section for Underdog Predict that explains how it works and the available prediction markets.
Yes, Underdog Predict is a legitimate prediction market platform for trading. Its event contracts are offered by the Crypto.com | Derivatives North America exchange, which is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Underdog is available for US traders who are over the age of 18. At the time of writing, the platform is available in these 33 states:
If you’re interested in trading event contracts, Underdog Predict is a solid place to start. It uses a peer-to-peer predictions market model, where you trade contracts on real-world events.
Underdog has contracts on popular sports categories, including the NHL, NFL, NBA, tennis, and soccer. Plus, if sports aren’t your thing, you can use the app to trade contracts on culture markets, which include awards like the Grammys and Oscars, the economy, and politics.
If you want to start trading event contracts here, click the on-page banners to register at Underdog today. Though, keep in mind that prediction markets are not Underdog’s main feature, and if you’re looking for “pure” prediction market sites you can have a look at our Kalshi review and Polymarket review.
Underdog Predict is only available to users in the United States who meet the minimum age requirement, which is typically 18 or older depending on the state. Availability is limited, so not all users will have access to this feature.
No. Underdog Predict is not nationwide. Access depends on state level regulations, and many users will only have access to Underdog’s fantasy and pick’em products instead.
Not really. Underdog’s main product is daily fantasy sports and pick’em contests. While Underdog Predict introduces prediction market style features, it is a separate and more limited product rather than the core platform experience.
At the time of writing, promotions are mainly tied to Underdog’s fantasy contests and pick’em games. Underdog Predict does not appear to offer dedicated signup bonuses.
Fees may be built into contract pricing, but the structure is less transparent than traditional prediction markets. Users should not expect a fully developed exchange style fee system.
Underdog Predict may allow position changes depending on market activity, but it does not function like a highly liquid exchange. In contrast, Underdog’s main fantasy product does not allow users to exit entries once they are submitted.
Underdog Predict can include event based markets across areas like sports, politics, and culture. However, the selection is smaller and less established than dedicated prediction market platforms.
Dedicated platforms like Kalshi operate as regulated exchanges with transparent pricing and deeper liquidity. Underdog Predict is a newer, more limited feature that does not yet offer the same depth or market structure.
