Rain Causes Oakland Athletics' Plumbing To Flood, Again
The Oakland A's plumbing system was defeated yet again when it was overwhelmed by the weather yesterday. Toilet water for all!
Saturday's rain not only cancelled Oakland's exhibition game against the Giants, but also backed up O.Co Coliseum's shoddy plumbing, causing the toilets to flood water into the clubhouse.
The San Francisco Chronicle's Susan Slusser, who has been remarkably on top of this sewage beat, acquired the above video from third base coach Mike Gallego. Fortunately, the water wasn't as disgusting as one of last year's incidents, but it's still a ridiculous problem for a major stadium.
A couple of Athletics cracked some jokes, because laughter is the best way to forget the volatile nature of their bathrooms:
