CNN has a detailed account of how the “Grab them by the pussy” tape got leaked. Apparently, an NBC producer recalled the existence of the tape on Monday after Trump made sexist comments on Alicia Machado. Access Hollywood was working on reporting the story out and airing the tape, when David Farenthold of the Washington Post gave them a call out of the blue. NBC doesn’t know who leaked it, and Farenthold won’t say, because of course he won’t.
